How We Work
Working in Partnership
Understanding your needs
Occupational Health works best when we really understand your business and workplace. That way we can offer the most appropriate advice to keep your employees healthy or get them back to work. We prefer to work in partnership with your HR department, Health & Safety managers, as well as individual line managers and others. When introducing a new service we can also come and talk to your employees and their union representatives if appropriate.
In most cases when you first get in touch we will offer to come and meet with you, see your workplace and understand your business and your needs. You are welcome to also visit us in Broad Street, and we can give you a demonstration of our modern facilities and IT system. We can then work together to specify exactly what services your business and employees need, and provide a fully transparent quote upfront.
After the initial review and quotation, we can provide any or all elements of your OH service as required – up to and including a thorough strategic assessment and policy review and a fully-managed outsourced provision.
However, if you just need a one off report or advice on a sickness absence case, we are happy to provide these on an ad-hoc basis – this works particularly well for smaller business without the need or resources for a full OH contract.
Ad-hoc Services
We are happy to quote for any of our services on an ad-hoc basis, including:
- Ad-hoc sickness absence management assessments and reports
- Pre-placement assessments and reports
- Disability discrimination advice
- Occupational health and HR training
- OGUK Oil and Gas medicals
- Diving medicals
- Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome assessments
